Our Women Have the Right to be Protected

As salaamu alaikum!

An old Chinese proverb states that “every thousand-mile journey begins with one step”. Local business woman Rhadiyah Hutchen and her visionary partners have given life to this proverb by standing on the frontline changing the world by protecting one woman and child at a time, alhamdulillah! The “Now We No” campaign has sparked the consciousness of everyone that has sat in one of their “Focus Group Forums” that are being held around the world and by visiting the awareness campaign website.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) an average of 600,000 hysterectomies are performed on women annually in the United States. This devastating procedure takes away two common bonds that connect women worldwide regardless of race, religion or profession – the hope of motherhood and the desire to have a healthy monthly cycle.

The “Now We No” campaign is an awareness mission highlighting the potentially tragic effects brought about by the misuse of tampons and the overuse of poorly produced sanitary napkins. In this case, what you don’t know, may harm you. Fortunately, we don’t believe in highlighting the problem without presenting a potential solution – Cherish Premium Sanitary Napkins.

The campaign has taken off with massive success because of Miss Hutchen’s foresight of the awareness and comfort this would bring to women. After becoming knowledgeable about the challenges women face monthly Miss Hutchen thought about her children and wanted to make a difference.  The campaign has received attention from the likes of former swimsuit model turned business mogul, Kathy Ireland to Essence Magazine Senior Editor, Charreah Jackson. The movement is picking up momentum at an unbelievable rate. From May 23rd to December 31, 2017 Miss Hutchen and her partners have acquired $4,600,000.00 in revenue and are projected to do $50,000,000.00 in 2018 insha’Allah wa bi’ithni la. The Now We No campaign has given birth to the Now We No foundation. The mission is to help support families financially that have been affected by women’s health issues caused by tampons and sanitary napkins insha’Allah wa bi’ithni la.
